This week, on Diet Homeland with Alias: One unsurprising plot twist, and one really tough one. After watching this Mellie episode, I started to wish I could reshuffle the deck somehow and put her flashbacks BEFORE the episode — or maybe even in the same episode — as the correspondents’ dinner, when Mellie prostrated herself to Olivia to save the re-election bid. Just to see. Because I wonder if the naked desperation and begging from that scene would have been more heartbreaking when juxtaposed with these flashbacks. I’m very curious for Fug Nation to sound off on the whole thing.
