I was SO into this at first.
I love the paisley — or, you know, it’s at least paisley-adjacent — and the pop of bright red/orange, and the purse. But the longer I stared at it, the more I wondered if it needs a few more inches to be its best self, and then suddenly the midriff turned into an homage to Charlie Brown, and that purse actually probably belongs with a different outfit altogether so that it’s a show piece and not just a clashing, noisy distraction. Also, why are the knuckles of her big toes oozing out of her shoes, and where was her lip gloss consultant?
In sum, I basically un-fabbed this for myself. My balloon has been popped, flew around the room, and is now lying in an airless heap near the fireplace, waiting for its grave. Sniff.
