There’s definitely at least something interesting about this?
I’m always initially thrown off by seeing the lining in something, but at least it’s not SHEER there. Just… very taupe. The fabric itself has some fringe on it, which in person probably added some nice textural allure. I don’t know if I get why it had to have the extra two inches at the bottom unlined — it draws attention to the construction rather than simply being — but on the whole I think this will go down in her history as generally inoffensive. Not the worst, not the best, not the gown keeping you up at night because you can’t believe it will never be in your closet. It IS a small miracle that the length doesn’t make her look stumpy, though. I guess she’s learning to use the Force after all.
