Fug or Fab: Cat Deeley

Say what you will about her dress, no one can deny that Cat Deeley is downright adorable.

That being said, let’s take a look at her dress.

You know what? I actually don’t hate it. The bodice COULD be classified as Prom Night Napkin Over Lace — my junior prom’s theme was A NIGHT AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS (obviously. [Actually, I had nothing to do with it. (I didn’t even go [I DID go to senior prom (but I don’t remember the  theme)])]) and ergo all the table linens were black, because Black Table Linens = GLAMOUR — but I think it’s kind of cute. The bad news is that the back is almost exactly the same, which means it reminds me of the top of a pair of overalls. And overalls — though beloved by my college roommate, whom I adore — are maybe not what you want your evening gown to evoke.
