This was a reader request and I am super excited to return to this long beloved topic of WEEKEND BAGS! In all honesty, I truly rarely leave my house. But the idea of being a person who takes jaunty weekend trips with a clever little bag full of my coordinated outfits and sleep mask and cute dop kit to a great little A-frame cabin in the woods or whatever is so appealing! Maybe I should be that person! And for a person who never leaves the house, I have so many weekend/overnight bags. The ones I use the most are:
– This Liberty tote, which I bought in a travel frenzy in London and use all the time and have linked here a bunch.
– The classic LL Bean Boat and Tote. (I just bought one of their newish graphic Boat and Totes and it’s VERY CUTE. I feel like it’s perfect for the romantic and picturesque picnics I’m not actually going to go on this year.)
– An incredibly old leather duffle that is sort of like this? I got it when I graduated from high school, so it’s ancient.
– I sort of want one of these very chic tool bags to tote all my stuff around in. Is that weird?
