I always, always forget that Nordstrom has a big-ass sale right after Christmas through the New Year, until I get a multitude of emails from them being like, “WHY DONCHA BUY YOURSELF SOMETHING PRETTY?” And right now, friends, I have a LOT of writing to do — Heather and I have a big book deadline speeding toward us — so it makes great sense for me to take a ton of time and pick out some shoes and bags you might want instead of doing anything else. But we’re speeding into a new decade and a new decade DESERVES a new bag. (For example, if you want a Longchamp Le Pilage, now is the time) It also may deserve new shoes! (I actually already own these, and they’re CUTE in person. I also know that some of you were coveting these tartan Doc Martens the last time we talked tartan, and now they’re on sale. Speaking of plaid, these rainboots are cute. Speaking of rain, a LOT of Hunter Boots are in the sale, if you need some. I just want you to have warm, dry feet, okay?)
