So, occasionally I like to write a shopping post that consists solely of what I would deem TREATS. Things that no one really needs — like, I never NEED a fancy candle but I do love them — but which might be a bit of a pick-me-up (pick-you-up??) or a little piece of delight. Or, I suppose, a gift for someone else! (Sometimes I imagine that if I were very rich and this didn’t really need to actually make money, I would open a tiny gift shop called TREATS and it would stock just cute and interesting things I liked, and have very unpredictable hours. We’d serve champagne and coffee and on one RANDOM day each year, everything would be seventy percent off. My employees would be extremely friendly and have full benefits.)
