The Fug Madness seeding committee has done its deed. We’ve got some new faces this year, and are missing a couple regulars (see you later, Cate Blanchett; do better — or worse — next year, okay?) If you need a reminder about what the heck this whole Fug Madness contest even IS, allow me to direct you to the FAQ. Short summary: We make up a whole 64-celeb bracket, and then your voting fingers determine the worst-dressed celeb. Just like basketball’s March Madness, including the occasional buzzer beater, like the year Vanessa Hudgens beat Lindsay Lohan in the finals by 100 votes at the last second. We had gone to bed with Lohan the apparent winner and almost had a Dewey Defeats Truman moment with our tournament video.

Okay. Enough yapping. IT’S BUSINESS TIME. Here’s the first of our four brackets; after we’ve announced the other three, we’ll put up the full printable sheet and then away we go.

1. KIM KARDASHIAN vs. 16. LENA DUNHAM
2. JENNIFER LOPEZ vs. 15. SARAH JESSICA PARKER
3. MARION COTILLARD vs. 14. KEKE PALMER
4. WILLOW SHIELDS vs. 13. KATE WALSH
5. BELLA THORNE vs. 12. KATHARINE MCPHEE
6. SOLANGE vs. 11. JESSICA CHASTAIN
7. ROSAMUND PIKE vs. 10. NATASHA BEDINGFIELD
8. BEYONCE vs. 9. JENA MALONE

Kim is as inevitable as death and taxes. We’ve also got here some newbies in Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex) and Willow Shields (Prim in the Hunger Games trilogy-plus-one), and two British blondes facing off. And we have Carrie Bradshaw trying to take down The Lopez. I’m not sure if I see any upsets in here but I’m watching out for Palmer, Kate Walsh, and Katharine McPhee.
