Absent from this event: A LOT of people who attended the screening in Rome. Brie Larson and Helen Mirren are both in Cannes, so they’ve got a good reason to be absent — especially Brie, who is on the Cannes Jury. I tend to assume that Charlize just does whatever she wants and doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to do, and maybe the flight from Italy to Mexico felt too exhausting, or maybe Dior tried to get her into another dumb beret. Instead, though, we’ve got a LOT of cut-outs (everyone looks like they needed something stretchy) and Vin Diesel did…something.
