So, this movie, The Circle, opens on Friday and it’s not having ANY press screenings, and I think this is the only premiere they’re having, which basically means: Someone thinks it stinks, and even the combined power of Tom Hanks and Hermione Granger may not be enough to save it. Emma Watson certainly is not deploying her most exquisite and precious red carpet wares to promote it. Not that she looks unprofessional — she would never — but this whole evening sort of feels like a big old “ehhhhh, what are you gonna do?”
