I do not know what fever dream produced this outfit, especially after the dark and stormy vibe they’ve been working at the premieres, but it’s serving a hefty dose of I’m Doing Whatever Happened To Baby Jane at a Community Theater And We Made Our Own Costumes.

At first I thought that was a weird sweat stain around the bodice, but I’m pretty sure it’s a folded-over detail. I can’t decide if I like the dress on its own merits — the metallics are a little brassy and the material is Sexy Bridesmaid — but at the same time, Emma looks foxy in it. With the hair and makeup, it’s like they just came off-stage as Velma Kelly. So that’s two theater projects in one post.
