Well, we knew Em was not going to STAY in sensible suits. I did not, however, anticipate an absurd turtleneck cardigan that she opens from the cleavage down. And which… has thumbholes? If your neck is so cold, why is the rest of you trying to escape?
I do at least have to give her credit for this: The runway version of the skirt does not have that light swatch of fabric; it’s just a slit. This means Emily at least asked for something marginally less extreme. But equating that to this whole outfit being good is a bit like saying your room is tidy if you took two shirt off the floor. It’s tidier, but you would still be embarrassed to have anyone bring you soup when you’re sick.
