The Smashing Machine is a Benny Safdie joint reuniting The Rock and Emily Blunt, who — as you may or may not recall — previously co-starred together in the Disney live-action adaptation of The Jungle Cruise. This one is not based on a theme park ride (albeit one for which I have great affection) but rather the life of MMA fighter Mark Kerr. I’m happy to report that basically everyone involved in this project looks great.
