For an interview promoting The Great (she’s nominated for a Golden Globe), Elle Fanning wore an outfit ripped right from this runway, barely a breath after it appeared there:
Interesting that Erdem was the line that said the inspiration was ballet, because Elle perhaps instinctively posed in that second photo with her toe out, as if she’s doing a Whatever The Name Is For That Move; I Don’t Ballet. Whether I like the outfit or not, it seems like a good match between line and star — a LOT of this feels feasibly Elle Fanning, though the first time I ever heard of this line, it was on the back of Keira Knightley. That works here too.
