Danielle is busy: She had to hit up Elle’s bash, as a Women in Hollywood cover star, and then the premiere of The Piano Lesson, which is the reason she’s on Elle in the first place. She went with adornments at both. For the former, she picked a black dress with long bejeweled strips that almost resembled chains, and here she went with very large, expensive… pustules. This admittedly looked cooler on the dramatically lit Schiaparelli runway, a setup with which it’s hard to compete, although I don’t dislike it here either. They DO look like the plague, but a SEXY plague. And while I don’t ever love the gloves, I understand not wanting to compete with the silvery buboes by adding bracelets. Honestly, I think she’s carrying this off magnificently, and as a bonus when she sits down she’ll get a very saucy massage.
