Once again, the hat-loving folks of the UK have turned out en masse to sport some truly noteworthy lids for the horse races. We’ve got sprigs of flowers, giant blossoms, a lady with a watering can handbag (!), quasi-hedges, top hats, multiple salutes to the Union Jack, several hats that I refer to as “chip and dips,” one that’s quite stabby, Moira Rose in disguise, and a possible return to the pillbox.
