This ensemble reminds me of another head-to-toe Dior with a woven lid: Elle Fanning at Cannes (I almost wrote “Elle Canning”). The only real similarity, aside from that I suppose, is that both of these ensembles feel so of-an-era as to make the wearers look like very retro, couture American Girl dolls. Meet Belle, foremother of Elle Woods (FINALLY, when someone is in pink satin, I remember Elle Woods exists!), who throws simply the most marvelous Tupperware parties on the cul-de-sac, occasionally does advertisements for her husband Mel’s car dealership, and once had a recipe for tuna noodle casserole printed in the newspaper.
