When we saw this on Jenna Coleman at Wimbledon, my exact words were “this is…not great. It feels like a nightgown.” The fit on this one is marginally better but it still looks like a nightgown. This look is perfect if she’s in some kind of 1970s period piece vaguely based on a lesser-known VC Andrews novel that ideally ends in murder — not hers, to be clear, but possibly at her hands — but for Radio Andy, less so.
This, which she wore to GMA, feels more reasonable:
The split waistband feels like a needless attempt to reinvent the wheel but that’s a nitpick. I’m a crank but even I cannot truly find fault with black pant and a white tee. It’s a classic!
