When we saw this look come down the runway, I noted that I thought it would show up at a photocall, and this is not a photocall. It is “a benefit for African-based creative arts charity Dramatic Need,” per Informative Caption, but I am giving myself partial credit for noting that this would be worn to an event that isn’t A Big Gown Gala. And if I may continue to pat myself on the back for something that I had literally nothing to do with and no control over: I’m glad they listened to me, because this looks great on her. It is quirky and ladylike, creative and professional, and she looks swell in it. GOOD JOB TEAM.
