We already covered Meryl in Prada, a reference to Miranda Priestley, and now here we have Anne Hathaway rolling up in cerulean — certainly a reference to that famous scene in the Runway office where Andy Sachs gets a lecture on all the different shades of blue and why they are NOT the same and she should not roll her eyes dismissively (which she should not have done anyway; Andy truly was terrible, like, I am not SUPPOSED to root for Miranda Priestley here but you are making it very difficult Andrea!!!!). Anyway, I always thought cerulean was a lighter blue than this, but apparently not! Learning.
Anyway, Anne was not the only person in blue; we had several, and some in green, and some in shades that bridge the gap between the two. Join me!
