Everyone wondered what the first big post-Globes ceremony would look like, and the answer is: BRIGHT. SO BRIGHT. Honestly, though the SAGs is historically one of the most interesting red carpets, I did fear it would be REALLY BAD this year because everyone would be swinging too hard back in the other direction and be so spoiled for choice that they went batshit (Kate Hudson). Instead, we got a much heartier supply of lovely risks, including two pleasant surprises from Dior of all places.

A note: Since the SAGs focuses so much on entire casts, we’re grouping a lot of forthcoming posts that way. So if we’ve missed a patterned star here, don’t fret: They’ll assuredly turn up elsewhere.
