Thousands upon thousands of photos roll in on Globes night, and we wait and we make lists and we filter and we check all the tagged names, and yet someone inevitably slips through the cracks. But not usually someone dressed as intriguingly as Skye P. Marshall here, co-star of Matlock and regularly interesting dresser. I don’t know how this happened! I only found out because I was looking for a dress credit for Anika Noni Rose on her stylist (I think) Jason Rembert’s Instagram, and found this Lever Couture creation. I love the intentions here and the sculptural elements, but it also does kind of look like somebody’s spool of ribbon broke and created chaos in the wrapping bin. And if any of those loops were to catch on a door handle, she would NOT appreciate the results. I don’t think it would have affected the ultimate Best Dressed outcome? I might have voted it Most Creative, or Best Use of Hot Glue Gun. But if the comments cry out for an asterisk on Best Dressed, well, we can give the people what they want.
