Emma Stone stars in Ari Aster’s latest, Eddington, alongside Pedro Pascal and Austin Butler and Joaquin Phoenix. It’s a modern Western AND it’s about Covid, which virtually guarantees that I will not end up watching it unless I’m forced to because it becomes an awards contender. (I’m using “forced” liberally — I would be forcing myself, for completist reasons, I am my own jailer here.) Naturally, Emma put her plate, oops I mean fate, in Louis Vuitton’s hands.
