One of my favorite thought exercises — and surely one of the favorite thought exercises of 94% of the rest of the world — is to imagine that I have won the Mega Millions and price is seriously no object anymore. For reference, the current jackpot is $440 million dollars, which would just about do it — unless I wanted a super yacht, which I do not. (A very chic sailboat might be nice, though.) Of course, we’d all pay off loans and debts and set up various loved ones, but I want to know: What absolutely frivolous thing would you do if you won the lottery? I’m buying a vintage convertible.
