Wow, It’s a Rare Miss From Zendaya at this Essence Event

Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood event honored Halle Bailey, Danielle Brooks, writer/producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll (All-American), and Kathryn Busby (programming head of Starz), and got a really great turnout — which I think it would anyway, but it’s always smart to have events in the week before a major award show because your odds significantly increase that people have cleared their schedules. As for Zendaya, she and Law sort of split the difference here between sci-fi and casualwear, and… I don’t think it worked. I KNOW. But I don’t.
