Oh, Kerry Washington, you are a delight and for once in my life, I am saying that with complete sincerity:
I had a dress very similar to this many many moons ago, so I am predisposed to liking it — it reminds me of being young in a good way (not in the way, say, acid-washed jean shorts do; those just make me remember being sweaty) — but regardless of my own Fashion History, it’s awfully hard not to look at this and think, “whither thou goest, Dress, I will go.” Because it looks like it’s going to be a pleasant trip, and there will be good cocktails at the end of it.
