Everyone at this premiere just threw that old “Don’t Wear White After Labor Day” thing right out the window. Which is fine with me, because my personal uptightness — though wide-ranging and obviously nearly debilitating — doesn’t actually spill over into that particular arena. Winter white is so great, y’all! I once tried on and did not buy an amazing winter white coat at Banana Republic like eight years ago and I still regret it. (I rejected it with the feeling that it would get too dirty, which….come on. I live in Los Angeles and I have TWO vintage fur capes. When has practicality ever been a real concern in my outerwear? Anyway. Memories.)
