I thought this movie came out ages ago, but perhaps that’s because they shot it back in 2022 and it was meant to be released in January 2024; they banked it because of the strikes. It’s Bong Joon-ho’s follow-up to Parasite, and it involves… clones and expendability, such, but as a dark comedy. Robert Pattinson stars as Mickey 17, and 18, and whatever other versions of him there are, but Toni Collette dominated the premiere with this dreamy sparkly that feels like it SHOULD be what she wears to accept the Oscar that crowns her career. Maybe someday she can recycle it there.
