The last show of Fashion Week used to be Marc Jacobs — a prime position, the crescendo of the season, the one all the editors waited for before leaving for London. But Marc doesn’t seem to be reclaiming that spot after Covid; recently he’s shown off-cycle. Enter Thom Browne, who is the darlingest of American fashion darlings right now, and who’s slid into the finale time slot. And he delivered a dark and stormy show set to The Raven, read by Carrie Coon, with some surprisingly wearable coats amid all the volume and pomp and drama.
