The bones of this dress are mediocre at best; I can’t really get excited about a Swiss dot and a floating collar and bunching and yada yada yada. It’s perfectly fine. It’s the thing you give up and select for your Fab Fit Fun box because it’s the least lame of all the available customization options, and so you think, “Well, maybe it’ll look better in person,” and it doesn’t really, but it’s too late. You prepaid and you had to pick SOMETHING. But the bodice decal is placed so weirdly to me. Well, first, I can’t read the glittery script, and second, I don’t know why they didn’t just make the line of the bodice higher so that the entire heart thing was on the black backing. The graphics also remind me of nothing so much as the Two Dots app’s Scavenger Hunt, which is a jumble of cutesy cartoons and you have to find a variety of needles in the loud, moving haystacks. I look at this and imagine someone running up and poking at her chest and shouting, “CANDY CANE! I GOT ONE!”
All of which is to say… meh. Which I guess would’ve been faster, but economy of words is not why we’re here.
