It may feel like Driver’s License has been in our heads forever, but no, the single was released in January 0f 2021. So this really was the year of Olivia Rodrigo; in the blink of an eye, she became a household name. My nephew is obsessed with her (and wanted to chip in, so he pops by the slideshow occasionally). She’s won VMAs and AMAs and has Grammy nominations, and gave us a whole album’s worth of extremely catchy tunes that are satisfying to wail inside our cars, or in the shower, or just while cleaning all the bathrooms again.
