The Rock swung between villain and hero in his WWE career, but — with a couple exceptions that might be spoiler-y if I list them — he is generally a good guy in his successful movies. Here, he’s trying to give the DC universe some buzz (and maybe make us all forget that The Flash is still on the schedule, while WB tries to figure out how to rehab Ezra Miller’s image; ugh to all that) by being bad in Black Adam. Dwayne also said that “he” intends to make a Black Adam/Superman crossover, so… do we think they just gave him the keys to the whole DCU and said, “Hey so just keep gas in the tank and try not to crash”? There are worse caretakers, I guess. And at least you’d THINK all these parties would get free tequila.
