In which we find out what would transpire if Olivia Colman called up her stylist and said, “find me something that looks BOOBILY PERILOUS but it’s actually a chestular chandelier!” As one so often does. (FWIW, both “Boobily Perilous” and “Chestular Chandelier” are names of characters in a soap opera I’m writing. They are — obviously — arch enemies and also identical twins.)
Unlike Boobily and Chestular’s attempts to take over each other’s businesses (an oil rig and a shampoo empire, respectively,) this look is not disastrous or anything — I love anything with a cape, Edna Mode be damned! — but it IS a bit silly. It might have worked better if the top of the black bodice was straight across, and not a sweetheart neckline. What do you think?
