These youths star in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, the newest iteration of that franchise, and I regret to inform my fellow Middle Ageds that apparently the general aesthetic of the Pussycat Dolls is back. This is a sartorial journey that every young person must take, and, apparently, one that every other person must revisit much sooner than anticipated. My corollary prayer is that maybe this means someone will put Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll on some streaming service so I revisit it and see how well it…well, “holds up” doesn’t seem like the right term. Let’s just say, “so I can see it.” My needs are few!
