I really want to see Hidden Figures, which I’ve heard is GREAT, and which is about — allow me to turn to Informative Caption — “the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson – brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.”  (It’s based on this book.) It doesn’t come out until Christmas day, but in addition to wanting to see the movie, I look forward to its premieres because we’re going to get some good outfits. (Kirsten Dunst is apparently also in it, and Janelle Monae and Kirsten Dunst on a red carpet together is something I didn’t know I wanted until I realized I was going to get it.) Let us begin.
