Trap is an M. Night Shyamalan movie about, basically, if a dad takes his daughter to a megastar’s concert and finds out the FBI is there to catch a serial killer… and he IS the serial killer*. That is not a spoiler; it’s in the trailer. Josh Hartnett is probably pretty good casting for this, as he exudes “mild-mannered dad,” and indeed is playing one on The Bear. Between that and Oppenheimer last summer, which made people say, “Wait, Josh Hartnett looks GOOD,” he’s having a sparkly moment right now.
* Someone in the comments pointed out that it might not explicitly say he is the killer… it implies it, so there’s room for a Shyamalan twist. They made a good suggestion!
