The deliciously wacky Katerina Graham, who apparently spends all her free time making up for how drab and sullen her Vampire Diaries character was for the last half of the season (but in a good way, because that show is awesome, as it actually lets things HAPPEN — it’s the anti-Passions, where the same scene sometimes took three weeks), has struck again:
On the surface: Not so bad this time. Okay, so the boots are very Pretty Woman meets Pirates of the Caribbean, and the minidress with the fake gems glued to it seems awfully like a Mother’s Day card a third-grader made in art class. And the two seem to be challenging each other to duel. But a tour through her archives will reveal that she’s moving in the right direction, picking something eye-catching, yet devoid of necklace clowns (yes, you read that right). AND she’s growing out those terrible bangs she cursed herself with near the end of the season, which would’ve been enough to make any budding witch totally depressed, leading to staying up all night watching infomercials and snacking on eye of newt.
Of course, there is one constant:
This child never goes anywhere without a small iceberg on her finger. Next, I fully expect her to take that to its logical conclusion and wear a ring made of iceberg lettuce.
