Taylor was performing “Betty,” one of my favorite songs from Folklore, which is a really great album — the kind of album that makes me wish I was writing a book, so I could listen to it while I work; it’s made to be the soundtrack for something that has a lot of feelings (I listened to SO much Taylor when we were writing The Royal We). And I thought she sounded really great:

But I am very perplexed by this outfit, courtesy of Stella McCartney. She’s like Sexy Tootsie on the top and Tootsie Stuck Working at the Temp Agency This Week on the bottom. Let’s examine what happened here.
