This feels very on-brand for Michelle, who does favor the twee and the mod on the red carpet (The Twee and the Mod being my favorite lost F. Scott Fitzgerald novel) but who also, I believe, seems like the sort of person who would grow a lot of ferns and wander around watering them in floral maxi-dresses while talking about the stone-ground wheat bread she’s making. It’s nice that she lets that person out of the house sometimes, too.
