This event is sort of a pre-pre-pre awards season shindig, wherein they get to invite almost everyone they think might get nominated for a film prize before anyone actually announces who HAS been nominated. Thus, it’s the widest scope of people. And many of them shone very brightly indeed, which we appreciate, especially as the wildfires rage and the death toll climbs higher. Self-care comes in many forms, and the joy of a duel between two sparkly blue skirts is one of them.
