Richard Quinn’s debut collection was only just last season. He held the show at Liberty — yes, that Liberty, the famed department store — and then this season he both got an award for British design named after the Queen, but he got it FROM the Queen, who sat front-row at his show. It is extremely difficult to imagine where one goes from here. (I imagine the short-term answer is, “On vacation.”)

So what did he have to offer her? LOTS of florals, and yes, some weird facial coverings that seem to be his edgy counterpart to the blooming British gardens on the models’ bodies.
