I really like Jonathan Simkhai as a designer. I remember, like three or four years ago, when we were still going to Fashion Week, there was a season where his line was like literally the only one I truly liked as a whole. At Fashion Week, “wearable” was usually code for “basic,” but my feeling always was, PEOPLE WANT TO WEAR THINGS. If your goal as a designer is to STAY IN BUSINESS, don’t you want to make clothing that people look at and think, “ooh, I want to wear that?”

ANYWAY. People wore that to this.
