The Venice Film Festival begins this week. I can’t figure out if Selena Gomez is planning to attend, or if she’s just… in Venice, because it’s Venice, who doesn’t want to be in Venice in a given moment? Folks are reoprting that this shot was taken as they disembarked from the Orient Express and headed to a water taxi, which is a very glamorous way to arrive. For the most part, this all works. Selena’s turtleneck might be a LITTLE extra snug on her actual nape, and something about the skirt makes me think of a tote bag, but there’s impressive polish to it all. If I’d just arrived by train, even a posh one, I’d probably have crumbs stuck to me and look like a tragic, harried hobbit.
