Fly Me To The Moon is apparently just called To The Moon in some overseas markets, maybe because they feel like a film about a fake landing involves NO flying and they REFUSE to lie. Principles!!!! Anyway, this is more interesting at least than the picnic-check dress ScarJo wore to the other premiere; while I think the stuff on the waist and bodice just feels like more for the sake of more, the beadwork on the skirt is really lively, and her red lip is delicious. I also theoretically enjoy the contrast lining on the skirt, but I don’t get the wisdom of having it hang below the hem AND poke out behind the bodice, as if the mice who made the dress were several shots deep into Marilla Cuthbert’s cordial and decided to just measure with their hearts. We’ve all been there. Just… usually with, say, vanilla extract, and not fabric.

Channing is just there to say hello and let Scarlett do the hard part. He DOES look like a very gentlemanly pillar against which to lean when the heels start to feel too high.
