In which William wonders, “can I drink this?”
Let’s see. I moved this week, so hopefully we didn’t miss anything too important, but if you were off over the weekend: Harry and Meghan were VERY schmoopy at the closing ceremony for the Invictus Games, and I also put together a post of little leather jackets similar to the one she wore to the opening. They are SO CUTE. In other news, Kate is allegedly going to an engagement with Wills and Harry on Tuesday, so THAT will be exciting. Also exciting: I SWEAR our mobile site will be fixed soon. I am so so sorry that it’s taking this long. I know a lot of you like to read this feature on your phone over the weekend. We are working on it, I promise.

Vanity Fair reports on the Queen’s breakfast. It’s seriously less fancy than mine.
Royal Central reports that there’s a rumor that Queen Margrethe may abdicate, and it amuses me that apparently this rumor gets dragged out for every aging queen who ever was. (I WAS surprised to learn that Frederik is 50. He is so youthful looking!)

What Would Kate Do has a piece on the evening tours of the state rooms at Buckingham Palace, which is excellent. This is the tour H and I took when we were researching The Royal We, and it’s OUTSTANDING. (We ended up being the last people to leave after the champagne and the gift shop, and the docent escorted us out the front gate. I’m sure all the people standing around out there were like, “who are those two disheveled girls clutching notebooks and what were they doing in there?”)
