It’s a bold move to have a rain-or-shine show with no backup shelter. In September you wouldn’t necessarily think it’s a huge risk, but alas for Rodarte, the weather came and didn’t let up. Fortunately, they were somewhat prepared; PR girls apparently handed out umbrellas and mopped up seats and squeegeed the metal runway. The show must go on, and so it did. I just wonder if it left any of those clothes in ANY kind of state. Or does it ever matter? Maybe the original runway items go straight into the archive anyway, never to be seen again, recreated for celebrity bodies.
