It’s fun to see some of the Fashion Week love coming West. Ralph Lauren finally spread the wealth all the way to The Huntington, a research library, museum, and botanical garden in San Marino (near Pasadena). It’s a gorgeous place, but sadly didn’t get shown off to its best advantage in the photos. Perhaps he demanded that nothing, NOTHING, should compete with J.Lo in a hat.

Your front row is above, and if you want to see the collection, click into the gallery below. Stefan would approve, as It. Has. Everything. Children! Midriffs! Metallics and plaids and berets and rugby shirts! Western cool, East Coast preppy, red-carpet glam! And that thing where the dude who sponsored Downton Abbey and makes uniforms for tennis staffers gets a little “HOW DO YOU DO, FELLOW YOUTHS??” about street style!  Come on in:

I AM at least looking forward to those last five making an appearance, along with one belted gold dress from somewhere in the middle.
