It might not be true, but it FEELS like Dior always gives Rachel Zegler — she is at least a PARTIAL ambassador of theirs — something underwhelming and at least partly sheer. Like this black one that I’d forgotten about, or this very similar one that I had ALSO forgotten about, and this cream shredded one. This is NOT sheer but it IS wretched; it’s custom, it should not sit so low! I actually think her high point with Dior was the first Met Gala she attended in 2021, which I believe means it all went downhill from there. All of which is to say that she went back to the Dior well the other night, and emerged in something that looks like she was sleeping in her underwear when a unicorn sneezed on her. And I suppose that’s BETTER than a troll sneezing on her, but maybe she should keep diversifying. She can do better than a sneeze, even an ethereal one.
