Finally, FINALLY, Burberry has someone other than Riccardo Tisci at the helm. The fall line by Daniel Lee feels like it’s in, let’s say, polite conversation with the last few seasons under Tisci, but also clearly scooting itself toward happier territory. The plaids are back, more colorfully, and there are rose prints and (faux) fur collars and coats, and a pair of frocks on slides 34 and 35 that I’m excited to see on someone. It’s better!
