Back in the day, when Heather and I covered New York Fashion Week for New York magazine, there were always these shows were you knew money had changed hands before certain celebs would agree to appear in their front row. Like, Chloe Sevigny isn't going to Miss Sixty unless they paid her – and good for her for getting that fifty grand or whatever it was.
Apparently, the early aughts really ARE back because here is Nicole Kidman, of all people, attending the front row of a Victoria's Secret fashion show in Los Angeles. Notably, she did not walk the pink carpet, she just posed for photos inside. That must have been part of their negotiations. Other celebs did not make the same deal, because we've also got Megan Thee Stallion (looking amazing), Tinashe, a WACKY-looking Lisa Rinna, and KATSEYE, who also performed in the show.
